WELBECK HAILED BY EX-PROS

Manchester United’s young sensation Danny Welbeck has been hailed as a brilliant player for the club by two of the club’s best-known legends – Andy Cole and Paddy Crerand.

The youngster returned to the club in September after a loan spell at Sunderland. Since his return, he has been most impressive, scoring nine goals in all competitions. These included matches of paramount importance against rivals such as Manchester City and Arsenal.

Cole, a United veteran with over 120 appearances for the club, remarked that Welbeck’s return was especially important to the club, now that Javier Hernandez has been out for some part of the season with a few injuries. Speaking in an interview, Cole said that it would be immensely positive for the youngster’s confidence that he has been on the starting line-up for so many big games.

Speaking about Javier, Cole said that it was probably the most difficult season for the youngster as it was his second for the club. The number of injuries he had sustained hadn’t helped his performance. This was a golden opportunity for Welbeck to shine and prove his mettle and he had done just that, by scoring some magnificent goals against some of the most formidable opposition in the country.

Paddy Crerand also had the same views as Cole to share about Danny when he was interviewed for betfair. The septuagenarian, who appeared for the club on over 300 occasions, said that Danny had been terrific. He added that he was a young player but was learning very well. His performance against old-time rivals, Arsenal, was especially hailed by Crerand.

The veteran also said that the manager had shown tremendous faith in the youngster by letting him start for some of the most important fixtures on the calendar. All the fans are hoping that he continues in his current form. He remains one of the best Euro 2012 betting tips – we think he’ll end the tournament as the top-scorer.
